Important SOTU question needs asking!

Wed Feb 01, 2006 at 06:01:34 AM PDT

To facilitate cross-aisle dialog, I believe it vital that we each ask one SOTU question of at least one friend or relative that hails from the FoxNews-watching / spin-buying side of the country:

What did you like about the State of the Union address last night?

What makes this particular question important?  For one, answers to the query can provide useful information about What Works.  How was the speech effective at providing warm fuzzies, if at all?

Second, it may give that friend or relative an opportunity to comply with the spin training (everything is peachy!) and then volunteer up some of their worries, what they hated about it, what they question or doubt about last nights speechifying.

But ask it!  While the trance is still recent, and particularly ask it of family members or pals who normally expect you to rant about the PotUS.  Surprise them, and we might learn useful information.
